I believe the connection between a business leader and business success is the CEOs drive to learn; to grow, to consume knowledge and put it to work in their own businesses. The blog, podcast and newsletter have been going down a treat with around 6,000 leaders in my corner of the internet.
The Melting Pot Podcast
The Melting Pot is a show about business strategy and culture. My aim is to learn from entrepreneurs, authors and innovators to uncover hidden truths and bust myths. I am fascinated by how others build great companies, powerful movements and enduring brands.
In searching for a name for the podcast I liked the twin meanings of the melting pot; a pot in which metals or other materials are melted and mixed and a place where different peoples and theories are mixed together.
In 2015 we moved to Foundry Farm in the New Forest and discovered that a foundry has been here since 1735. In 1829 the new brass bell for St Laurence Church in nearby Dowton was cast on the site. So The Melting Pot was born.
From the Management Lab – blog and newsletter
The weekly blog, From the Management Lab, is often born from questions asked by clients or the situations they face in their businesses. My aim is to help CEOs and business leaders scale up with more predictability and less drama. I write about the strategic tools we deploy and how to create a more productive communication and execution rhythm.
We have a purpose-built coaching centre on the farm. In 2018 we build the Management Lab to create the perfect space with great light in an amazing environment to do deep work with the CEOs and leadership teams.
